A short drive from la Bergerie will take you to charming villages, historic landmarks, gently winding rivers, vineyards, and medieval towns. This area of le Lot is stunningly beautiful, traditional, and well worth exploring.

Whether you want fun-filled or laidback days out, there’s a huge range of activities close by to suit all ages and abilities. Take a leisurely stroll down quiet country lanes, explore local markets, or engage in more energetic pursuits such as hiking, cycling, fishing, kayaking, horse riding and much more. All these options are available just a short drive from our stunning Lot location.

Open-Plan & Fully Accessible

La Bergerie gite comfortably sleeps up to four people. The two large bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to ensure you have a great night’s sleep. The king-size bedroom has an ensuite toilet and shower room, whilst the other has a queen size bed and separate toilet and shower room. With wonderful views over the surrounding countryside you will wake up and think you are still dreaming. Open the window and listen to the birds singing in the trees. You might even hear our resident donkeys braying for their breakfast!

The spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area has been designed with luxury and comfort in mind. It also has the most amazing views across the pool, terrace and large gardens. This is truly a magical place and you will never want to leave.

Eco-friendly farm stay

Guests have full access to the gite, pool and farm land. Also, if you or the children want to see the animals we can accompany you into some of the animal enclosures.

During your stay we will happily chat with you about our different projects. If you are keen to learn about a particular area or eco-friendly project we also offer an exclusive tailor-made course. This can be arranged any morning during your stay for a small extra charge. Occasionally we may hold an Open Day or other event on the farm. We’ll give you as much notice as possible if we have any events planned during your stay so that you can take part or arrange a day out.

To stay in La Bergerie gite book direct for the best rates. Use the Availability Calendar or phone/email us with the dates and duration of your stay. We will confirm whether the gite is available for that period or not. If it is available and you want to go ahead we will email you our Booking Form and Terms and Conditions. These must be signed and returned to us with any applicable deposit.

Additional Information

For all holiday bookings we are obliged to collect a local Tourism Tax (la taxe de séjour) which is then paid to the local council. The total amount payable is based on the number of adults (any guest aged 18 and over) and the number of night’s stay. Certain exemptions apply, so please contact us if you are in one of the exempt categories.

The rates displayed on our website do not include the Tourism Tax or the refundable Security Deposit. The applicable amounts for each of these will be clearly shown on your booking email. Get in touch for more details.
